A place for nature lovers… and dog lovers

Nestled in a small, peaceful village in Saint-Nectaire, La Bergerie des Volcans is a warm and welcoming farmhouse designed specifically to welcome holidaymakers and their dogs. Dogs aren’t just accepted here : they’re fully welcome and even compulsory. In fact, it’s the very philosophy of the place. Up to 5 dogs are allowed, depending on the season, at no extra charge.

The idea is simple : to offer a real vacation destination where owners and their four-legged companions can feel at home, in complete freedom, without constraint or stress.
The exceptional natural setting, the absence of noise pollution, the adapted facilities and the warm welcome make La Bergerie des Volcans unique in the region.

A calm, secure environment close to nature

The house is located in a quiet hamlet, with no busy roads, on a small working farm. It’s surrounded by pastures, hiking trails and vast, typically Auvergne landscapes. Right from the doorstep, you and your dogs can go for a walk without having to take the car. The private garden, adjoining the gîte, is fully enclosed with a high fence (over 1m50), allowing dogs to let off steam in complete safety.

Comfortable, functional accommodation for 2 to 4 people

La Bergerie des Volcans is an old farm outbuilding that has been carefully renovated in keeping with local architecture. With its 55 m² spread over three levels, it offers an original, practical and warm layout.
* Beds made up on arrival, bathroom linen (2 towels per person) and household linen (tea towels) provided.

First floor : kitchen and dining area

Enter through the kitchen, which opens directly onto the south-east-facing private terrace. This bright, well-equipped room is the heart of the home.

Second floor : living area (with double sofa bed and additional single bed in alcove), bathroom.

A wooden staircase leads to the second floor, which has been converted into a cosy multifunctional space.

Second floor : mezzanine bedroom

The final mezzanine level houses the master bedroom (bed 160×200).

This level is pleasant and warm, with high ceilings in the central area.

The gîte offers a wide range of facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible :
