The exhibition features a range of equipment and vehicles from France, other European countries and around the world, many of which are rare or even unique.
The exhibition covers a wide range of themes associated with the fire department, from photos and archive documents to postcards and books. It also includes miniatures and toys, as well as outfits, helmets, equipment and machines, and more unusual objects depicting the image of firefighters.

From 01/07 to 31/08/2026 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm. On Thursday between 2 pm and 6 pm. Sundays and public holidays : 2 to 6 p.m.

From 19/10 to 31/10/2026 on Thursday, Friday and weekends between 2 pm and 6 pm. Public holidays : 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Thiers firefighters’ museum has set up an audio guide available on visitors’ cell phones, explaining all the objects and vehicles on display, and which can also be used by the visually impaired.
