The historical center of the firefighting world, managed by the E.F.M.A. (Européan Firefighters Muséum Association), an association of general interest, is happy to welcome you to admire the collections of the firefighting world from all eras.

Opening hours

From 01/07 to 31/08/2026 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm. On Thursday between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Sundays and public holidays : 2 to 6 p.m.

From 01/09 to 18/10/2026 weekends between 2 pm and 6 pm.

From 19/10 to 31/10/2026 on Thursday, Friday and weekends between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Public holidays : 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Prices and payment methods

  • Adult : 6 € (Audioguide included.)
  • Child : 3.50 € (Ages 4 to 14)
  • Group adults : 5 € (group = 10 adults)
  • Group children : 3 € (ages 4 to 14).
  • Free entry for children under 3, the drivers.
  • Child entry valid for 4 – 14 years.
  • Group rate available for 10 people or more.

  • Guided tour (flat rate to be added to group admission price) : – from 15 adults : €20, from 15 to 30 adults : €40. Length of visit : 1 h 30/2 h.

The Thiers firefighters’ museum has set up an audio guide available on visitors’ cell phones, explaining all the objects and vehicles on display, and which can also be used by the visually impaired.
