Feodal castle, beautified in the Renaissance and became a royal residence.Park, gardens and panorama on the Romanesque church and the village of Saint-Saturnin.

A powerful fortified castle built in the 13th century, it was embellished in the 15th century under the influence of the Renaissance and became the property of queens Catherine de Médicis and Marguerite de Valois, and later of King Louis XIII.

This enchanting setting opens onto parks and gardens set in the Parc Naturel des Volcans d’Auvergne. Near the charming Romanesque church.

From 01/06 to 22/09 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday between 2 pm and 6 pm.
June: Saturdays and Sundays, every hour from 2pm to 6pm inclusive.
July-August-September: Sunday to Thursday inclusive, all hours from 2pm to 6pm inclusive.
Closed after September 21, 2025.
