Randan

Located between Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, the Domaine Royal de Randan was created in 1821 by Louis-Philippe d’Orléans, future King of France, and his sister Adélaïde. A mecca for 19th-century Romanticism and modernity.

In 1821, Louis-Philippe d’Orléans and his sister Adélaïde acquired the former duchy of Randan and set about restoring it as a holiday resort. From then on, the estate’s destiny was linked to that of the French royal family.
