The Frac Auvergne reopens on 25 September 2026 at 11 Rue Ballainvilliers (Halle au Blé) ! Discover contemporary art exhibitions, a collection of over 1,000 works and a rich cultural programme for all audiences.

Following its relocation and refurbishment, the Auvergne Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) has taken up residence in the iconic building of the former Halle au Blé. This exceptional historic venue now offers the FRAC redesigned, modern exhibition spaces in which to showcase the full richness of contemporary art.

From 25/09/2026 to 07/02/2027 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Closed exceptionally on 24/12/2026, January 1st, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.

By bus : Ballainvilliers transport hub — served by the main lines B and C, as well as lines 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 27 and 35/36 (stops located along Rue Ballainvilliers and Avenue Vercingétorix).
By tram : Place de Jaude station (500 m / 5 minutes’ walk).
By C.vélo : Station No. 10 – Ballainvilliers – Place Renoux (at the foot of the building).
