The village is organised around Sainte-Madeleine Church, a building dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. The local heritage offers an insight into the religious history and old built environment of the town.
A heritage guide is available for €3 in our four tourist information offices : Saint-Gervais-d’Auvergne, Châteauneuf-les-Bains, Pontgibaud and Les Ancizes-Comps, as well as on our online shop. It accompanies the discovery of Sainte-Madeleine Church, linked to a former priory, and the old elements preserved in the town.
