Pulvérières

With its 16 hectares of water, the Grand de Pulvérières pond is one of the most interesting mid-mountain wetlands in the heart of the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d’Auvergne, in the Puy de Dôme region.

Reeds, willows, alders and wet meadows are the ideal components of a breeding and feeding habitat for many species. Location

Accès

From Clermont, follow Orcines, then take the road to Vulcania (D941). At the roundabout, take the direction of Saint-Ours by the D62. At the entrance of the village, turn right on the D943, then Vauriat, left, the D50 towards Pulverières. Continue straight, the Grand Pond is on the right.
