Sallèdes

For your safety, access to the forest is strictly forbidden in bad weather.
The Maison des Espaces Naturels, dedicated to environmental education (reception and temporary exhibitions), is open from April to October on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 :30 to 5 :30 pm. Access is free the rest of the year on Wednesdays from 2 to 5 pm.
Outside these hours, access by prior arrangement (groups only).

Advice and precautions :
– follow the suggested direction of travel for better understanding ;
– for the little ones, bring a baby carrier (strollers are not suitable) ;
– the undergrowth can be home to ticks, so make sure you wear long-sleeved clothing, pants and closed shoes ;
– make sure you’re equipped for the walk, depending on the weather ;
– carry plenty of water.

From Clermont, take the D225 to Vic-le-Comte. Take the D761 and then the D225 towards the Maison des Espaces Naturels. After 5 km on the D225, the Maison des Espaces Naturels is on the left.
