Circuit patrimonial à Enval

Vic-le-Comte

On the Vic-le-Comte territory, the Enval archeological site stands on its plateau, with a view of the Puy de Sancy in the distance. It was in this village that an exceptional Magdalenian deposit was discovered in 1929, at the bottom of a converted cave.

Enval’s charm doesn’t end with its rock shelters: you can also appreciate its winegrowers’ houses, its castle and its typical architecture of semi-troglodytic houses. A site that probably still hides many artifacts just waiting to be discovered!
