The “Les vestiges de Montrognon” hike will introduce you to the puy and its 12th-century tower.
How to get there :
– Road access: from Clermont-Ferrand, head towards Ceyrat. Cross the N89 after the sports center, then go up to the housing estate on the slopes of Montrognon. Parking is available at the summit, and access is by foot.
– Pedestrian access: from the parking lot at the top of the housing estate, take the tarmac path leading up to the summit (behind the metal barrier).
