Looking for an authentic experience in the heart of Auvergne ? Join us for a farm tour in the town of Bourg-Lastic and discover the Ferrandaise cow, an iconic cattle breed native to the Puy-de-Dôme department.

Accompanied by the farmer, set out to explore this living part of Auvergne’s heritage. You’ll learn more about the unique history of this local breed, which was once threatened with extinction but is now preserved thanks to the passion and dedication of local farmers.

During the tour, explore the pastures where the animals graze, learn about environmentally friendly farming methods, and discover the essential role the Ferrandaise plays in maintaining the landscapes of the Combrailles. A fascinating immersion into the world of agriculture, blending traditions, expertise, and biodiversity.

• Guided and narrated walk
• Explanations about raising Ferrandaise cows

• Duration : 3 hours (walk + visit to the farm)
