Les Maisons du castel: a family story in the heart of Combrailles for over 120 years. Respecting its family values ​​since 1904, the MOUTY family is today your host in a charming 17th century manor where you can sleep and eat. The great-grandmother of the current owners, “la Mère-Castel”, as she is called by the inhabitants of the village, founded this house in 1904. The owner’s family puts its centuries-old hospitality knowledge at the service of its guests, who are welcomed in a vast and charming 17th century house where one feels good and enjoys a unique atmosphere, space and cosy comfort.
Each room bears the name of one family member. Two of the rooms can accommodate a family of four (two adults and two children).
The buffet breakfast starts at 14 €/pers.
Les Maisons du Castel works in partnership with the restaurants run by the family’s innkeeper and cook: “Le Castel 1904” and “Le Comptoir” (menu from 19 €); half-board can be offered from three nights.
