The Tourisme & Handicap label: making tourism accessible to all

The Tourisme & Handicap label helps tourism professionals to set up accessible facilities and services, to ensure that holidays and leisure activities are suitable for everyone.

  • It certifies that the reception offered meets the essential needs of people with disabilities, thanks to facilities verified on site: adapted signage, obstacle-free routes, large-print documents, specific equipment (magnetic loops, adapted sanitary facilities, etc.).
  • It applies to different types of tourist services: accommodation (hotels, gîtes, campsites), restaurants, leisure activities (swimming, walking, etc.), cultural or natural sites, as well as tourist offices.
  • It takes into account the 4 families of disability: hearing, mental, motor and visual.
