Starting from the Espace Loisirs du Lac d’Aydat, mountain bike route No. 5 – Garandie – Charmont offers a beautiful route for mountain bikers seeking challenging terrain and variety. Set within the unspoilt surroundings of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, this route offers the perfect balance of challenging climbs, playful sections and panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic peaks.

• The Puy de Charmont and its viewpoints : Cycle around this iconic volcanic peak and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding domes and craters.
• A varied and challenging route : The route combines invigorating climbs to gain altitude, refreshing sections through woodland and particularly exhilarating descents.
