A FAMILY HISTORY

A house is much more than just a material asset. Isn’t it said that houses have a soul? You don’t need a castle in Spain or an eighteenth-century manor house to be a family home. You just need to remember the memories that have been shared and the rituals that have been created.

As far back as we can remember, it was the home of our grandparents and uncles, the family home as we like to say. This place has a history, it was the place to meet on market days for a coffee, a place to share stories and gossip, a place of conviviality.

So many people and so many stories have been told here for almost 200 years. The house has been in the family since 1826. It’s in this unpretentious house that we too welcome you to perpetuate this history, to keep alive the spirit of meeting, sharing and loving people. Keeping this house is an act of generosity and respect.

For us, it was inconceivable that it would disappear. It’s part of our family heritage.

Now let this Gite be for you, restful, let it live, let other memories and stories be created here, it will be the continuity of this beautiful family history….
