A major mountain bike challenge in the heart of the Comté forest and the Livradois foothills

Starting from the historic town of Vic-le-Comte, mountain bike route No. 27 – Tour de la Comté – is one of the most challenging routes at the Volcans Mountain Bike Centre. Reserved for highly fit riders or e-MTB users seeking an endurance ride, this route offers a total immersion in the Comté forest, renowned as one of the most beautiful oak forests in Auvergne.

Highlights of the mountain bike route :
• An exceptional forest experience : Wind your way along the shaded trails of the Comté massif, a veritable green lung home to remarkable biodiversity and a peaceful atmosphere.
• A physically demanding and technical route : Tackle a succession of steep climbs, challenging sprints and technical sections that will delight true off-road enthusiasts.
• Scenic views : As you emerge from the shade of the tall trees, enjoy magnificent panoramic views over the Limagne plain, the Livradois mountains and the Chaîne des Puys (UNESCO).

Difficulty : Black level – Very difficult
A very demanding ride, suitable only for regular and fit mountain bikers. Helmets must be worn. Make sure you bring enough water and food for the entire route.
