Starting from the Espace Loisirs du Lac d’Aydat (Volcans Mountain Bike Base), Mountain Bike Trail No. 2—Aydat to Pessade—is a classic route for enthusiasts of long-distance riding and wilderness. Stretching 27.5 km with 520 m of elevation gain, this red-level trail connects Auvergne’s largest natural lake to the foothills of the Sancy Massif.
