Starting from the Lempdes Town Hall parking lot, the “Between the Banks of the Allier and the Limagne Hills” trail offers a wonderful getaway into the heart of the plains and hills of eastern Clermont. Passing through a wide variety of natural habitats, this hike invites you to discover the volcanic and riverine environment from a new perspective.

Highlights of the hike :
• Diverse landscapes : Wander through the meanders of the Allier River, vast open plateaus, and the contours of the Limagne hills.
• Panoramic detours : Take advantage of the recommended detours toward Puy d’Anzelle and Puy de Bane to admire a sweeping panoramic view of the Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area and its surrounding mountain ranges.
